Marcella Maggio is a writer, director, producer, and artist who loves being involved in every step of the 2D animation pipeline. A lifelong devotee of fandom, she gravitates toward vibrant color, absurdist humor, and stories that can make you laugh one minute and cry the next.

For the past four years, Marcella has also brought her production expertise to film and television marketing as a Motion GFX Producer, helping bring campaigns to life for projects including The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, The Mighty Nein, Severance, A Complete Unknown, Scary Movie 6, Zootopia 2, and Elio.

She’s passionate about animation with personality: handmade, unexpected, and impossible to forget.
